Membership

Start with a free week of search. Membership builds your full profile and puts your grant search on autopilot, keeping your list fresh every month. Your first application is written and reviewed for a one-time price. Applications after that come out of the credits your membership banks.

What each level includes

Monthly membership, $95 a month

It starts with your grant profile: about 35 minutes of documents and questions, from which we build your full profile and a readiness report that says what you have, what is missing and what would block an application. Then two searches a month against your profile, so a new funder or a changed deadline shows up when it changes, not a year later. A twelve-month calendar with every deadline and a reminder before each one. Every grant on the list carries the funder's own eligibility line, the next application window with its date, what is still to confirm, and the link to the funder's page. Each month banks 100 credits toward applications. Cancel any time.

First application, $1,500 once

It starts with a short call or, if you prefer, an email exchange with your grant writer. Before anything is written, we work out with you what to ask this funder for, how much, and what shows the need, so the request is one the funder is glad to pay for. Then the deep work, done once: we shape the ask to what the funder pays for, and write the narrative pieces every later application draws on, so you never answer the same question twice. Your first application, written under the funder's own limits, reviewed, and handed to you as a paste-ready sheet for the funder's form. Funders change their forms, so the sheet comes with the Grant Guide: a chat you keep open beside the form while you fill it in. Paste a screenshot of any box that does not match, or type a question, and get the exact text to copy, drawn from your own answers. Anything that would change your request goes to a person on our team. We confirm it with you before any writing begins.

Each application after that, 1,200 credits or $600

A short questionnaire for what that funder asks and your profile cannot answer. Then the full application, the budget on the funder's template, the attachments named, reviewed before you see it. Paid from the credits your membership banks; about a year of membership covers one. A federal application is 2,400 credits and a letter of inquiry is 200.

Who submits the application?

You submit under your own login, because most funders require someone from your organization to submit and sign. Submitting yourself also keeps the relationship with the funder yours: their messages, award notices and reporting reminders come straight to you. You are not on your own while you do it. Your Grant Guide is a chat that stays open beside the funder's form and answers your questions as you fill it in, and anything it cannot settle goes to your grant writer.

How credits work

  • Each month of Monthly membership banks 100 credits, worth 50 cents each.
  • Credits pay for applications and letters of inquiry, and for three extras, only when you ask for one:
    • A board policy, written or updated: 100 credits ($50). One policy (conflict of interest, financial controls, whistleblower, document retention or safeguarding), written for your organization or your current one brought up to date, in plain language and ready for your board to adopt, with the one-line motion for your minutes. One round of changes is included.
    • A deficit plan: 150 credits ($75). A one-page plan for closing last year's deficit: the steps, the amounts and the dates, drawn from your budget and 990 and ready for your board to adopt, plus the short paragraph funders ask for in an application. One round of changes is included.
    • Your budget, fixed: 100 credits ($50). Your current budget corrected the way a funder reads it: lines that add up to the totals, the right year, your programs and in-kind support shown. Returned as a spreadsheet and a PDF, with a note of every figure that changed so your board can approve it again. One round of changes is included.
Everything else, including help understanding any document we ask for, is part of membership.
  • Credits expire five years after the month they were banked.
  • You can pause membership for up to 30 days; nothing is charged and your credits are kept.
  • If you cancel, credits banked in the last 30 days that you have not used are refunded. Other credits end with the membership.
  • Never a percentage of what you win.
